PRAGUE WINTER 2011

Start the year in the romantic ambience of the Czech capital. In the first few days of the New Year, before their busy touring schedules commence, Bohemia's finest performers and ensembles are available for the annual Prague Winter Festival, now in its 39th year. Performances take place in Prague's magnificent historic concert halls, opera houses, theatres, churches, former monasteries and aristocratic palaces.

Prague in winter has a very special appeal - Prague castle, the old town, cosy Bohemian wine bars, the Charles Bridge and the roofs and towers of the old town covered with snow. Prague is at the heart of central European art and culture, the city of Havel, Janacek, Kafka, Dvorak, Smetana and Mozart. The Winter Festival combines performance with history and heritage for a week that will invigorate and inspire for the year ahead.

Prague Winter 2011 festival shall take place in Prague 3rd-8th January 2011. The final full programme and information about the festival and contacts to book will be available on this website.
